Agartalla Agarwood Corporation (OPC) Private Limited is an Indian agarwood oil distillery based in Agartala, Tripura. Our focus is the distillation, manufacturing, production, distribution and export of Oud oil and agarwood oil.
We are devoted to preserving the rare legacy of natural agarwood. Located in the heart of Tripura, a region known for its rich agarwood heritage, we work to bring the world closer to the rare and timeless beauty of natural Oud.
Indian agarwood
The agarwood heritage of North East India
Agarwood thrives in North East India thanks to the region’s favourable climate, and it is a source of livelihood for many people across the region. The species grows predominantly on private land.
The favourable climate and traditional knowledge of North East India allow agarwood trees to develop their distinctive resin. Indian agarwood oil is obtained from infected Indian agarwood trees (Aquilaria malaccensis).

Our work begins with resinous wood
Our work begins at the source — the resinous wood of the agarwood tree. Skilled artisans extract the fragrant resinous wood chips through a meticulous process, and these chips are steam-distilled to obtain pure agarwood oil.
The older the agarwood tree, the better the resinous chips it yields — and for each extraction, the quality of the wood determines the quality of the final Oud oil.

What we do
Agroforestry-grown agarwood
Our Oud oil comes from the resinous wood of agroforestry-grown agarwood trees of North East India, primarily Tripura.
Distillation and manufacturing
Resinous agarwood chips are steam-distilled to extract pure agarwood oil; rose flowers and Oud chips are co-distilled to produce Rose Oud oil.
Distribution and export
We welcome product, bulk purchase, distribution and export inquiries for our Oud oils.
