Rooted in the land of agarwood
Agartalla Agarwood Corporation is an Indian agarwood oil distillery based in Tripura, focused on the distillation, manufacturing, production, distribution and export of Oud oil and agarwood oil.
Tripura is known for its rich agarwood heritage. The favourable climate and traditional knowledge of North East India allow agarwood trees to develop their distinctive resin — and our work begins at that source, with resinous agarwood distilled into pure Oud oil.

Within the heartwood, the resin takes shape.
Agarwood’s character comes from the dark resin that forms within the Aquilaria tree. The older the tree, the better the resinous chips it yields for the distillation of Oud oil.

Our distillation
From resinous wood to pure Oud oil
Resinous agarwood (Oud chips) is distilled through a steam distillation process to extract pure agarwood oil.
Resinous agarwood chips
Fragrant resinous wood chips are extracted from agarwood trees through a meticulous process. The quality of the wood determines the quality of the final oil.
Steam distillation
Controlled, heated steam is passed through the powdered wood and carries the oil locked inside its cellular structure.
Oud oil collection
Once the steam has cooled, the pure agarwood oil is collected.
